Swedish Massage -This classic form of massage incorporates the basic relaxing techniques: gliding, gentle kneading, friction, percussion and vibration to help increase blood flow to tired overstressed muscles. This gentle massage will help you reconnect to the quiet being within.

Aromatherapy Massage
-The effects of essential oils in massage are relaxing, rejuvenating and can even be curative. Specific oils are used today as they have been used for centuries to reduce stress and tension, refresh and invigorate the body, soothe emotions and clear the mind. Oils, when used on the body, are absorbed through the skin to affect physiological changes. When inhaled, the aroma affects the brain’s limbic system which relates to emotions and memory. Used in combination with Swedish massage.

Reflexology -This is an acupressure-type technique performed on the hands and feet and is based on the ancient oriental theory that meridian lines or pathways carry energy throughout the body. Because each zone or part of the body has a corresponding reflex point on the feet, stimulating these points cause stimulation in the natural energy of the related organ.

Let the healing and soothing heat of the stones flow into your body as you are being massaged. This massage experience is unique allowing a body mind and soul unifying tranquility.

Thai Massage -
Thai Massage improves flexibility, reduces tension, stimulates internal organs and balances the body’s energy. The therapist uses gentle pressure along the body’s energy lines to stimulate movement of energy in the body and passive yoga like stretches to free muscular and joint tension. This therapy is both relaxing and stimulating.

Note: Thai Massage is performed with the client fully clothed on Thai mat on the floor. It is suggested to wear light weight, unrestrictive clothing.  

Shiatsu - This Chinese medical practice uses about 80% pressure point therapy and 20% massage. Shiatsu is primarily focused on moving "chi" within the energy meridians of the body to achieve flow and balance, so the body can heal.

Oriental Massage =
Shiatsu - Yoga and Thai Yoga massage combination.
Oriental Massage is performed by foot (walking on your back). Yoga exercises (breath work) and Thai Yoga massage (series of stretchings) to guide the client trough a series of yoga postures while palming and thumbing along the body's energy lines.

Together, these actions:

- relieve muscular tension;
- improve circulation;
- boost the immune system;
- balance the body energytically.

Sport Massage -Pick up the pace with an energizing sport massage. This vigorous and deep tissue therapy stimulates increased circulation and rejuvenates your tired overworked muscles. The perfect companion to enhances any workout.

*Deep Tissue Massage - Deep tissue massage is designed to reach the deep portions of thick muscles, specifically the individual muscle fibers. Using deep muscle compression and friction along the length of the muscle, its purpose is to break the fiber adhesions of the muscles and release both toxins and deeply held patterns of tension.

*Neuromuscular Therapy -Neuromuscular therapy is a program of recovery from acute and chronic pain syndromes by utilizing specific massage therapy, including the pressure of trigger points, to eliminate the causes of pain patterns. This approach brings about balance between the musculoskeletal system and the nervous system. It enhances the function of joints, muscles and movement.

*Myofascial Release -All muscles, arteries, bones, organs, etc. are held together by a connective tissue called fascia. Myofascial Release works by the manipulation of the fascia that connects and surrounds muscles. Because the fascia is body-wide, a tension or trauma in one part of the body can affect another part. Releasing fascia results in eliminating restrictions as a result of inflammation, tension and trauma. * These therapies are combined to best meet your body’s needs and will be used by the therapist to encourage healing.

*CranioSacral Therapy - A light touch manual therapy in which the therapist makes use of the patients natural self-correcting mechanisms, which are inherent within the CranioSacral system. The therapist’s gentle pressure actually assists your body in making these corrections. Results range from a sense of well being to increased awareness as well as relief of pain and discomfort. It has been used to treat a myriad problems for all ages from infant to elderly.

*Somato Emotional Release -A therapeutic process that uses and expands the principles of CranioSacral therapy to help rid the mind and body of the residual emotional and physical effects of stress and trauma. Somato Emotional Release is part of your CranioSacral therapy session when your body is prepared to let go of past and/or present physical and emotional stress or trauma.

* These therapies are performed with the client fully clothed. It is suggested to wear loose, light weight clothing.

Lymph Drainage Therapy -The proper function of the lymphatic system is critical to our body’s ability to detoxify and regenerate tissues and maintain a healthy immune system. This technique is designed to activate and cleanse the lymphatic system, detoxify the body, reduce edema, stimulate immune function as well as many other benefits. The therapist uses subtle rhythmic wave like movements to enhance lymphatic flow.

Pregnancy Massage - Pregnancy places strong demands on a woman’s body and is a time for the body to be nurtured. This massage relieves the tensions and aches caused by the extra weight and shift in the body’s center of gravity. It also reduces swelling, soothes the nervous system, acts as a tonic, reduces fatigue and enhances energy. Massage is recommended after the first trimester. *may be combined with 30min Lymphatic Drainage

Acupressure - A directed pressure point massage which stimulates Chi (energy) along the meridians (energy channels) to remove blockages, increase energy flow and reduce stress to promote health and harmony in the body. This shiatsu type massage uses finger pressure and is a non-invasive method of releasing constrictions in the flow of energy which cause discomfort and can cause “dis-ease”. Pressure points are used in combination with stretching techniques to bring overall balance to the structure and function of the body.

ETPS (Electro Therapeutic Point Stimulation) -This fully integrative non-invasive therapy which sequentially applies concentrated, low frequency electro stimulation to combinations of acutherapy points. The resulting relief from chronic pain, loss of motion and is long lasting. A 15min. treatment can be added to any massage.
